Dispelling The Five Myths of Executive Presence – A New Blueprint For Authenticity
Why your ability to connect is foundational to achieving your leadership goals
Whether you’re rolling out a new strategy, asking the Board for capital, or simply trying to connect with a new team member, one thing is for sure: your ability to connect and convey your ideas will determine if others listen and act. Yet even though we often talk about “executive presence”, there is little understanding of what it is or how to project it.
In this keynote, Bart Egnal draws on his experience with thousands of senior leaders to dispel the Five Myths of Executive Presence; he then lays out a new blueprint for authenticity that will allow you to build confidence in how you connect and project leadership.
Bart breaks down what presence is (and isn’t), why it’s foundational to success in business and life, and how to project it authentically (hint: it’s not about being louder or using giant gestures!). Audiences will leave with confidence in what it means to project presence, the tools available to them, and a sense of what their own authentic presence reflects and stands for.
Participants will leave this keynote with a clear understanding of what executive presence truly is—beyond common myths—along with practical anchors to project authentic credibility, strengthen impact, and inspire trust in critical leadership moments.
